This month, we'd like to give a huge shout-out to all the 643 volunteers who participated in one of our 62 volunteer opportunities in honor of Earth Month this past April.
Throughout the month, we were able to plant 13,000 plants, 22 trees, 250 lbs of litter, and identify 186 species during Bioblitz, Earth Day, and other environmentally focused projects. You also came out to support several events for the community. All of your efforts added up to a grand total of 2,673.81 hours served in our parks and greenways!
Thank you so much for caring about the City of Raleigh and making it a cleaner, safer, and prettier place to live. We cannot thank you enough for giving back to your community.
Are you interested in volunteering with Raleigh Parks?
